Last Day

So, my last day didn't turn out as I had originally planned it, but I think that was all for the best in the end. After nearly sleeping through my check-out time, I had 10-minutes to pack and beautify myself before hitting the streets for my last 12-hours in the city. Thank god for my new straw hat!

I took the subway to Chinatown in the hopes of transferring to the brown line and making my way to Williamsburg in Brooklyn, but instead I got carried along by the crowd up to Canal Street, where I acquired some beautiful pashminas and a Dolce & Gabbana boho handbag that's big enough to fit a toddler. How Mary Kate Olsen of me!

The next thing I knew, I was in Soho hitting up Prada, Chanel, and this crazy awesome Japanese mega-store called UNIQLO. See below:

And a little Chanel for ya:

How about this lovely little hipster taking a break from work:

Soho is the shit.

From Soho I worked my way up to Central Park for a picnic dinner.

It was a perfect way to spend my last night, especially when you add in a last stop at Pinkberry for some frozen yogurt with cookies and cream. Yum!

Stay tuned for my list of must-see places for the next time you're in NYC, and some pics of the stuff I picked up while I was there...
